The Interfaith Council Secretariat is coordinating the working groups on ethcs education. Currently there is a focus on dissemination, promotion, implemetation and resourcing of the manual for ethics education, Learning to Live Together.
An evaluation of the ethics education initiative is in process. The evanluation focuses on the dissemination, use and impact of the ethcs educaiton programme. The report is planned to be shared at the GNRC Fourth Forum in June 2012.
All along the development of the programme, there has been a focus on how to further engage in a reflection on media’s influence on transmitting values as well as how to improve the participation of children and young people in the ethics education initiative. These are still valid strategic consideration when implementing the programme.
